Welcome to my vibrant collection of art’n stuff

Based in the bastion of the arts that is Philadelphia, Jonah Reeder practices his glass and wood work. His goal as the Lazy Glazier, is to promote sustainability, and community through his art. The majority of Jonah’s materials come from second hand sources, giving new life to objects that were going to otherwise end up in a landfill.
His glasswork primarily uses shards left over from other artist’s projects. As such, each piece is entirely unique and unlikely to be reproduced exactly the same. Given the non-uniform make up of his supplies, each new project is approached with an open, and playful mind, giving way to creative new outcomes. Jonah seeks to bring an air of whimsy to the homes of his neighbors with his colorful artwork.

In addition to stained glass, Jonah is also an adept woodworker. With a simultaneous respect for tradition and an open mind for new techniques, he combines woodworking with stained glass to create one-of-a-kind pieces. Whether it’s an elegant frame or a playful structure that houses glass art, his creations reflect a passion for both mediums and materials.
